On February 14, RTS-O held a special “Family Chapel” day as part of our normal weekly chapel series during the semester. It was a great way to worship as a community and involve the children.
Prof. Glodo and Steve Weidenmuller (chapel intern) led us through a mix of hymns from the Trinity Psalter as well as songs derived from the Children’s Catechism, particularly focused on how we all can glorify God.
The Schreyack family led us in a corporate responsive reading of Psalm 23, and then the Boone family led us in the Apostle’s Creed.
We also spent time offering prayers of thanksgiving in small groups.
We finished up with heart-shaped doughnuts and other treats (partly in honor of Valentine’s Day, of course).
Many thanks to Glodo, Weidenmuller, Chrissy Boone, Janelle Born, and Melody Hoover for helping plan this special chapel time.
